Oysters & Scallops

Harvested throughout the year in the shallow creeks of Mersea Island in Essex. Rock oysters have a long, deep and flared shell and the oyster inside is meaty, firm and creamy with a fresh sweet taste.

The Northern American and Canadian Atlantic coast is where this bivalve mollusc is native to. The beautiful delicate fan shaped shell that cradles the scallop whilst it grows, just echoes the delicate and divine taste of the tender meat.

These large king Scallops hail fresh from Scotland. The scallops are often used by gourmet chefs and have a delicious sweet silky taste. Simply pan fried in garlic butter, their tender flesh is a stunning treat.
